Answer: It is Haraam for men to wear gold and sliver both while performing salaah and when not. They are only allowed to wear silver rings that weigh g. it is however permissible to have gold and silver jewellery or coins in one's pocket while performing salaah. There will also be no harm if most of the watch is made of a metal other than silver when a part of it is silver.
