The Janaazah salaah for a Mother who died in Labour

Q: Janaa'iz-4: A mother-and her child died during labour will their Janaazah salaah be performed together or individually?

Answer: It is best to perform their Janaazah salaahs individually. lf they are to be performed together, then the child's bier should be placed in front of the Imaam and then the bier of the mother. Alternatively, it is also permissible to place the mother's bier at the feet-side of the child's bier when performing the Janaazah salaah together, first the du'aa for the adult will be recited and the' the du'aa for the infant. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
