For Relatives to be Buried together

Q: Janaa'iz-57: Is there any harm in the graves of our relatives being all Next to each other to make it easy to recognise and to make du'aa?

Answer: There is no harm in having the graves of relatives close to each other In fact, this is better because having them dispersed in various places makes it difficult to recognise. A Hadith states that when Hadhrat Uthmaan bin Madh'oon RADI. passed away, Rasulullaah SAW. placed a rock on his grave as a mark of recognition and said, "This is to mark the spot because I wish to bury my relatives close by." Rasulullaah SAW. later buried his son Hadhrat Ibraheem RADI. there.

Based on this narration, Hadhrat Mulla AIi Qaari RAH. says that it is Mustahab to bury family members together. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
