Bathing a Drowned Person

Q: Janaa'iz-68: Is it necessary to bathe a person who has drowned? Will dipping him into-the water and taking him out again suffice as Ghusl?

Answer: It is necessary to bathe a person who has drowned and his being in the water will not suffice as Ghusl. This is because it is Fardh (obligatory) for the living to bathe the dead. Of course, if while removing him from the water, people immerse him in the water three times with the intention of Ghusl, it will suffice as ghusl and another Ghusl will not be necessary. And Allaah knows best what is most conect.
