Using Medication in the Private Organ while fasting

Q: Saum-28: Due to her illness, a woman has to place a bag of medication in her vagina at night and remove it only after Iftaar the following day. She may also place it in during the day while fasting and remove it after lftaar. will the fast be nullified in these two instances?

Answer: The fast will not be nullified if she placed the medication in before starting the fast. It will however be nullified if placed inside after the fast has been started. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
