Using the Tambourine while Fasting

Q: Saum-29: Will there be any harm to the fast if a person uses the tambourine, blows the trumpet or use other musical instruments?

Answer: It is a grave sin to use musical instruments while fasting. However, the fast will not be nullified. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
