Inhaling Smoke while Fasting

Q: Saum-42: What is the ruling concerning burning incense or Lobaan in The masjid or the house during the day in Ramadhaan? This is regularly done in our Masjid. what will happen if the smoke is inhaled when fasting?

Answer: It is not prohibited to burn incense or Lobaan in the Masjid or the House during Ramadhaan. The fast will not be nullified if the smoke is inhaled unintentionally. However, purposely inhaling it will nullify the fast. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
