Selling a Property to Someone who Uses it for a Liquor Store

Question: (1) A Muslim sold his shop to a Hindu. who is using it to operate a liquor store Will the Muslim be sinful for selling?

(2) A friend of mine who is particular about the Shari'ah runs a passport agency and charges. He charges every person ten to fifteen thousand Rupees whereas is costs him only 500 to 100 Rupees. it is permissible to take such a large profit?

(3) A person engaged in smuggling donates money to the Masjid and Madrssah or buys items and donates then. Is this permissible and will he be rewarded'?

Answer: (1)If the Muslim has nothing to do with the bottle store, he will not Be sinful.

(2) It the money was not earned by deception and embezzlement, it will be Halaal However, taking too large a profit contradicts humane behaviour and is a form of oppression.

(3) If the money is earned in a Halaal manner, he will be rewarded for donating to the Masjid and Madrassah. However, the Shari'ah does not permit this form of activity because he stands the risk of demeaning himself if he is arrested for breaking the law. He should therefore give up the trade. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
