Using Colouring Derived from Crushed Insects
Q: Prohibitions and Permissions-22: Is it permissible to drink something that has colouring derived from crushed insects?
Answer: Insects have no flowing blood and are therefore pure. It is, however. not permissible to eat them. While products made from them may by used externally, they may not be used internally.
