Oral Sex

Q: Prohibitions and Permissions-31: Are the private parts of the male and female bodies pure when the rest of the body is? Is there any harm in a woman taking her husband's private part in her mouth or for a man to kiss of lick the outer part of her private part? I feel embarrassed to ask this question but feel that it is necessary. Please forgive me.

Answer: There is no need to feel embarrassed to ask about the rules and regulations of the Shari'ah, How will one learn about the Deen if one is too embarrassed to ask? Allaah states. "Allaah never shies away from the truth." You should therefore never let embarrassment prevent you from enquiring about the regulations of Deen.
Although the private parts are pure, it does not mean that every pure thing can be taken into the mouth, kissed or licked, While mucous from the nose and the rectum are regarded as pure, will anyone take them into the mouth? Can it be permitted? Certainly not! It is therefore extremely reprehensible and Haraam to do kiss or lick the private parts of a woman This resembles the behaviour of dogs, goats and other animals. If one is really aroused, he should terminate the act with actual intercourse (and eventual ejaculation).

A woman, on the other hand, is the passive partner in the act and when she cannot ask for intercourse and has to take the man's private part in her mouth, she will be excused for this. It is however Makrooh to make a habit of this.

Remember well that we really cannot allow the mouth that takes the pure name of Allaah, recites the glorious Qur'aan and sends salutations to Rasulullaah SAW. to do such a despicable act. A poet says:

?(O Allaah!) Even if my mouth is washed a thousand times with musk and rose water the same It will still be disrespectful for it to take Your Celebrated name"

And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
