Nikaah after the Jumu'ah salaah

Q: Miss-21: What is the ruling concerning carrying out the Nikaah immediately after the Fardh of the Jumu'ah salaah, even before the Sunnah Rakaahs can be performed so that the maximum number of people are present?

Answer: If the Nikaah is carried out immediately after the Fardh salaah people will forsake their Sunnah Rakaahs and even those who wish to perform the Sunnah will be disturbed by the noise. It must therefore not be allowed to take place then.
