Writing Property over to the Wife in Exchange for her Dowry

Question: At the time of getting married, Zaid made over his house and jewellery to his wife as dowry and even had this written in the marriage register. His parents, grandparents and himself now refuse to hand all of this over to her. Is she still entitled to it and are they guilty of injustice for refusing it?

Answer: If, in the presence of witnesses, Zaid willingly had this written in the register, his wife will be entitled to it and everyone refusing her this right will be guilty of injustice. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
