In What Langauge wil the Deceased be Questioned?

Q: Imaan-8 : What have the Ulema and Muftis to say about the language in are questioned in the grave? Will it be in Arabic or in the langauge that the deceased speaks?

Answer: While some opine that questioning will take place in the Syriac langauge, the research of Allaama Ibn Hajar RAH. tells us that according to the apparent text of the Ahadeeth, the questioning will take place in to the possibility however does exist that each person will be questioned in their own language. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
