Will a Bath be Necessary for a Woman when a Finger is Inserted into her Vagina

Q: Taharaat-54: Will a woman need to bath after a nurse or a midwife placed their finger into her vagina to establish the progress of her delivery or when she herself places her finger in to apply some medication? What if the husband does this?

Answer: When this is done for medical reasons and the woman experiences no arousal, Ghusl will not be necessary. However, if the woman or her husband do this to arouse her, it is best according to the Fuqahaa to take a bath if there was no discharge. If there was a discharge, it will be Waajib compulsory) for her to take a bath. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
