For an Imaam to stand Alone on a Raised Platform

Q: Salaah-39: What is the ruling with regard to an Imaam standing alone on a raised platform while the Musallis stand lower down when there is no overwhelming crowd or any other reason to warrant this?

Answer: For an Imaam to -stand alone on a raised platform without any valid reason resembles the practice of the Christians and is therefore Makrooh. It will however not be Makrooh if there is at least a row of Musallis with him on the platform.
