For Non-Muslims to Staff one's Business after the Adhaan for the Jumu'ah salaah is called out

Q: Salaah-525: While I proceed to the Masjid for the Jumu'ah salaah before the Adhaan, my non-Muslim staff continue to conduct trade at my business. Is there anything wrong with this?

Answer: While it is permissible for non-Muslims to conduct business since it is not Waajib (compulsory) for them to hasten for salaah, it is in the bear interests of precaution to close one's business after the first Jumu'ah Adhaan. This will accord the due honour to the day of Jumu'ah and will also prevent negligent people from misunderstanding. What harm can be caused by closing the business for an hour? "This is better for you if only you knew {Surah Jumu'ah}. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
