Getting Married while in Iddah

Question: A divorced woman remarried after just one menstrual cycle had passed (within the lddah), but the people of the Jamaa'ah separated the new couple. Is the marriage valid?

Answer: She should start the Iddah anew and can then get married only after the lddah has terminated.
