The Children of a Man and Woman who Had Touched each other with Lust

Question: Zaid had touched Hinda lustfully some time in the past, but did not commit adultery with her. Now his son is proposed to get married to her daughter Is the marriage permissible?

Answer: The marriage will be valid because the marriage is between the descendants of the guilty couple and because Hinda's daughter was not born from Zaid The woman who is touched with lust or with whom adultery is committed becomes Haraam for the ascendants and descendants of the man who committed the indecent act. Similarly, the man who touched with just or who committed adultery becomes Haraam for the ascendants and descendants of the woman with whom he committed the indecent act. Marriage between the descendants o1 the guilty couple is, however, Still perissible. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
