For Someone to Assume the Role of Mukabbir During Salaah by the Indication of Another

Q: Salaah-732: Because there was no need for. a Mukahbir when the salaah started, the Takbeer was not being repeated. When a Rakaah finished, someone at the back announced that they cannot hear the Imaam. It was then that the Mukabbir started to relay the Takbeers. Will the salaah be valid of those people who then responded to the Takbeers of the Mukabbir? Some people claim that the salaah of these people was invalid. Is this true?

Answer: When someone announced that they cannot hear the Imaam, the salaah will not be invalid if another person started to relay the Takbeers with the thought that there is a need for a Mukabbir. This is when he acted according to his understanding of the situation. The situation is just like the person in salaah who is told about an error in his salaah and then corrects himself upon realising that he had erred. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
