Teaching Children while in I'tikaaf

Q: It'kaaf-7: The Imaam of the Masjid is paid to teach the children in the Madrassah. Can he teach them in the Masjid white sitting for I'tikaaf during the last ten days of Ramadhaan?

Answer: He should apply for leave to sit in I'tikaaf, but may teach the children in the Masjid if he cannot have leave. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
