Will the lqaamah be Repeated when the Salaah is Repeated?

Q: Salaah-226: It was only after making the Salaam that the Imaam realised he Had performed three Rakaahs instead of four. Does the Iqaamah also have to be repeated when repeating the salaah?

Answer: In the stated case where the salaah was repeated immediately afterwards, it will not be necessary to repeat the lqaamah. The lqaamah will however need to be repeated if there was a delay between the two salaahs. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
