Making Wudhu while the Adhaan is being called out

Q: Salaah-246: (1) How is it to perform wudhu while the Adhaan is being Called out? people say that one should sit still and then make wudhu after the Adhaan. What also is the ruling concerning reciting Qur'aan when the Adhaan is called out. Must the recitation be stopped to listen to the Adhaan or can it be continued?
(2) If the follower made a mistake while following the Imaam in salaah, must he make Sajdah Sahw after the Imaam completes the salaah?

Answer: (1) If time allows, one should first reply to the Adhaan before making wudhu. If time does not permit, there will be no harm in making wudhu while the Adhaan is on. If one is reciting Qur'aan at home, it is Mustahab to stop the recitation as soon as the Adhaan is heard. The person reciting Qur'aan in the Masjid has a choice to either stop or to continue reciting.

(2) The follower should not perform Sajdah Sahw. It is only the Masbooq (one who missed some Rakaahs and needs to complete them) who will have to perform Sajdah Sahw if he makes an error requiring Sajdah Sahw after the Imaam has completed the salaah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
