Question: I am 49 years old muslim woman. I converted to Islam 5 years ago and my dies passed away (Christian) about 7 years ago and he was creamated at the time and he ash was kept in a container with my mother.? Now in memory of my dad, my sisters (they are Christian) and I would like to spell his ash on his favorite lake. Would you please advise if I could participate in this event? As a muslim woman, can I still do that? and if not please let me know why and what the consequences could be.
