Should salaah that has Already started be Terminated upon Hearing the Takbeer?

Q: Salaah-239: Thinking that salaah has already been performed in the Masjid, one started performing salaah at home. However, one had just started the salaah when the Iqaamah was heard being called out in the Masjid. Should the salaah be completed or terminated to loin the Jamaa'ah?

Answer: The salaah in the stated case should be completed. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
