Calling out the Adhaan before the Time for the Salaah

Q: Salaah-219: If the Adhaan is called out before the time for the salaah sets in and the salaah is then performed after the time has already set in, will the Adhaan and salaah be valid?

Answer: Because the salaah was performed in its time, there will be no need to repeat it. Although this will mean that the salaah was performed without the Adhaan, it will not affect the validity of the salaah and it will be valid. Adhaan called out before the time for the salaah will not be valid and needs to be repeated after the time sets in. The Adhaan is Sunnah Mu'akkadah and an extremely important hallmark of Deen. It is therefore not permissible to leave it out. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
